“Just wanted to share the news that Kate had a long but successful surgery last Friday. We are so indebted to the incredible surgical team at Princess Margaret who successfully removed all of the cancer. It’s still a long road ahead but feeling extremely grateful right now. Thanks for all your tremendous support, it means the world!”

 

 

Kathryn Tremills, who often accompanies her husband Giles Tomkins on piano at services, was diagnosed with cancer earlier this month.

It’s a tough blow, not only health-wise, but also financially since both of them as musicians have had limited chances to perform over the past two years.

Kate’s sister-in-law has launched a GoFundMe where you can find out more and help with a donation.

This fund has been created to provide a place for much-needed support to Kate’s family during this incredibly challenging time.
All funds raised will be given directly to the Tremills-Tomkins family to help with living expenses, integrative therapies, and unexpected expenses associated with medical appointments and treatments.
If you can contribute financially, all donations in any amount are greatly appreciated and ease the burden for Kate and Giles.
