Worship service at Fairlawn Avenue United Church are on Sunday mornings in our Sanctuary. Doors open at 10:00am and service begins ar 10:3oam with Rev. Dr. Cameron Watts, Eleanor Daley, Director of Music and the Fairlawn Avenue Senior Choir. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, in our post-service Coffee Hour in the sanctuary – we encourage you to bring your own mug! Coffee Hour provides an important opportunity for people to connect with one another, Experience Belonging, welcome visitors and guests, and feel part of Fairlawn. If you’d like to revisit any of our worship services, curated musical offerings and service bulletins, they are posted online on our website worship page or YouTube channel.

Please join Eleanor Daley, Director of Music, and the Fairlawn Avenue Senior Choir for Lessons & Carols, with readings of the account of the Nativity with hymns and carols as we celebrate the season and joy of singing together.
UPDATE: Gathering on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 has been CANCELLED. The next gathering is Tuesday, January 21, 2025. We have 2 women’s spirituality groups where women meet monthly to contemplate life’s questions and support each other. Online Tuesday evenings 7:00pm – 8:30pm December 3, 10 & 17 Registration required Featuring chapters 1-3 from the book: "Starlight ~ Beholding the Christmas Miracle All Year Long" by John Shea. Christmas is a time of convergence when light and darkness, the divine and the human intersect in vivid ways. Shea helps us appreciate the feast of Christmas as a moment when "the spiritual suffuses the physical and turns it into a medium of revelation." Ordinary objects such as trees, stars, mangers, gifts, and communal meals become occasions which nourish our souls. The book is no longer in print so participants will receive the material (hard copy or online). October 2024 -> Please note the Prayer Shawl Ministry is meeting in October off-schedule on Tuesday, October 22 at 1:30pm in-person and off-site. For details, please contact Jan Schlee at The Prayer Shawl Ministry knitters meet the third Wednesday of every month (September - June) at 1:00pm to 2:00pm online to knit and chat. Prayer shawls are offered to Fairlawn members, family and friends in need of support and comfort, or to celebrate a special occasion. The knitters work on their own time on these cozy, warm shawls that serve as a tangible reminder that one is not alone.
