Donations are gratefully accepted starting Sunday, November 10 through Sunday, December 1st either to the main office from Monday to Thursday between 9:00am – 4:00pm or Sundays between 10:00am – 10:30am before service in our wrapped donation boxes at the SE Sanctuary Door (the Nook).
Start the Advent season with Special Music Sunday, December 1, 2024 at 10:30am. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, in our post-service Coffee Hour in the sanctuary – we encourage you to bring your own mug! Coffee Hour provides an important opportunity for people to connect with one another, Experience Belonging, welcome visitors and guests, and feel part of Fairlawn. If you’d like to revisit any of our worship services, curated musical offerings and service bulletins, they are posted online on our website worship page or YouTube channel.
One Snowy Christmas Our book fundraiser is back in time for you to buy a copy or two for the young (or young at heart) people on your Christmas list, with all proceeds going to Fairlawn. Written by Kathleen Magladry, with illustrations by Jill Klaehn and design by Kathryn Cullen, it is based on a childhood memory of Barbara Springgay. Books will be available during Coffee Hour Sunday, December 1 and 8 at a cost of $15.00 and payment can be made by cash or via with the memo line noted as “Snowy Christmas”. Spread the word! Grab your kids, grandkids, friends and neighbours and join us on the lawn of the church for Carols Around the Crèche on Sunday, December 1 at 4:45pm to 5:30pm. This outdoor carol sing and lighting of the nativity crèche helps us mark the first Sunday of Advent in our North Toronto community. The carol songsheet can be accessed on your phone and hot chocolate will be served.
